About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Engineer II to drive both manual and automated testing efforts across software applications and services. This role requires a strong experience in test automation using Python, experience validating complex systems, and the ability to independently investigate and resolve quality issues. Mobile testing experience is highly desired.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a related field
• Strong experience with both manual and automated testing
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience testing APIs, web applications, and distributed systems
• Experience with test automation frameworks and best practices
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC/STLC
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to independently manage testing activities and priorities

Nice To Haves

• Mobile application testing experience (iOS and/or Android) highly desired
• Experience with mobile test automation frameworks
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
• Familiarity with Git, Linux/Unix environments, and shell scripting
• Experience testing backend services and APIs
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, databases, containerization, or related technologies
• Experience working in Agile development environments

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts using Python
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
• Analyze test failures, identify root causes, and drive issues to resolution
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure product quality
• Support and improve CI/CD testing processes and automation pipelines
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and quality documentation
• Participate in release readiness and quality risk assessments
