As a Quality Engineer II, you’ll be at the center of driving real improvements—reducing defects, accelerating root cause identification and resolution, and lowering the cost of poor quality. You’ll work on bus transit technologies: passenger doors, wheelchair lifts and ramps, e-Bus charging systems, and driver protection barriers, along their subsystems and components. Every project will challenge you to think critically, act decisively, and collaborate across disciplines. At Wabtec Bus Solutions, we look for engineers who are curious, technically sharp, and able to communicate with clarity and impact; we want team players who bring energy, ambition, and a positive mindset to every challenge. If you thrive on making things better and influencing change, this is your opportunity to make an impact that matters and gets recognized. You’ll collaborate hands-on with manufacturing, customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, sales, and supply chain, to strengthen processes and resolve issues. You’ll support production on the shop floor, partner with engineering on new product launches, and work with sales and service teams to address customer concerns. You’ll be part of a team that values collaboration, accountability, and helping others succeed while driving measurable improvements. You’ll lead 8D and DMAIC initiatives, champion APQP/PPAP readiness, facilitate FMEA risk assessments, and resolve quality inventory issues quickly. Your impact will be clear: stronger customer confidence, faster issue closure, and improved reliability.
