About The Position

As a Quality Engineer II, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our Data Center Solutions value stream delivers products that meet the highest standards for performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role operates on the 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, in a brand new, climate-controlled facility.

Requirements

  • At least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with Manufacturing or Quality processes.
  • Experience in process improvement, planning, Six Sigma, Lean training, and quality systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Quality Certifications such as CQE, CMQ, CQA, and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor training are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with optical, multi-sensor, and scanning inspection equipment (preferred).
  • Experience supporting quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Quality function and act as a primary liaison with customers, building strong relationships and confidence in our processes.
  • Facilitate customer engagement at multiple levels, partnering proactively to address concerns and align on quality expectations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, engineering, operations, and suppliers — both inside and outside the organization.
  • Support production teams to ensure high-quality, compliant products are delivered consistently and in accordance with established processes.
  • Lead and participate in Material Review Board (MRB) activities, driving timely disposition and corrective actions.
  • Manage internal non-conformance reports (NCRs) and external quality issues, including customer complaints, from identification through resolution.
  • Evaluate suspect or nonconforming materials, working with diverse teams to quickly diagnose issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Lead quality problem-solving efforts using Six Sigma (DMAIC) methodologies, including containment, root cause analysis, and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities for new product launches, including PFMEAs, Control Plans, GR&R, Capability Studies, and First Article Inspections (FAI).
