We are currently looking for an individual to fill the role of Quality Engineer II at our Chesterfield, MO facility. We offer a flexible 4-day work week with a 10 hour/day schedule. This role supports the manufacturing environment by ensuring product quality, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on-site schedule at our Chesterfield, MO facility.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in engineering or Technical field
  • 3+ years of quality and manufacturing experience
  • Applicants for this position must be currently and legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, J-1, F-1, CPT, OPT, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or Technical field
  • Preferred Aerospace Experience such as AS9100, FAA-PMA
  • Preferred DMIR, DAR, DQR experience

Responsibilities

  • Initiating internal continuous improvement quality projects.
  • Facilitating effective corrective actions internally and externally and includes dealing with internal personnel as well as customers, suppliers, etc.
  • Supporting third party quality audits.
  • Develop quality procedures to maintain controls of processes.
  • Responsibility for customer certifications and product measuring and testing.
  • Effectively developing and leading cross-functional process improvement teams.
  • Transferring best practices, techniques, procedures and tools to peers and other process improvement teams.
  • Applying Six Sigma tools and methodology to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
  • Demonstrating successful application of new methodologies to improve product and process quality.
  • Leading internal auditing of established management systems.
  • Investigating and determine root causes for internal and external rejections, implement preventive corrective actions.
