Quality Engineer I
About The Position
As a Quality Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will be an integral part of our commitment to delivering high-quality products and solutions. You will support quality assurance activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will impact the quality and performance of Honeywell Building Automation products by ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving improvements in manufacturing and supplier processes. Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role, preferably within manufacturing or building automation industries.
- Basic knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies, including root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and audit procedures.
- Experience with quality documentation and reporting software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or certification.
- Knowledge of supplier quality management and audit processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive improvements.
- Familiarity with building automation systems and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Support quality assurance activities including inspections, audits, and testing to ensure product compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and supplier teams to identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Assist in data collection and analysis to monitor quality metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.
