About The Position

Tremco Construction Products Group (CPG), part of RPM International Inc., brings together building-envelope manufacturers, service providers, and brands to provide integrated building systems for construction and restoration. The Quality Co-op will learn about and contribute to polyurethane sealants and coating manufacturing operations, developing an understanding of how manufacturing relates to support teams. The role focuses on safety, product quality testing, process validation, and improvement, and involves significant time in both the laboratory and on the plant floor.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in good academic standing, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Engineering focus in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the quality team with routine tests, performed accurately and promptly, to determine whether products meet specifications and approve products for shipping and filling.
• Manage filing and disposal in the retain room.
• Maintain 5S in the QC lab and retain room.
• Participate in product quality projects, including root-cause investigations and effective corrective actions to prevent customer complaints and reduce internal rework.
• Lead small quality-improvement projects involving testing, data collection, and analysis.
• Complete other tasks and projects as assigned.
