About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Quality Engineer - Automation for a contract-to-hire role with a Major Financial Institution in Pittsburgh, PA. This position focuses on automating retail technology using Artificial Intelligence, testing backend development and APIs. The role requires strong critical thinking to use AI as a tool within a large financial institution's complex environment.

Requirements

Strong automation background
Strong AI background
Must have a banking or financial background to understand the innerworkings of a large financial institution
Ability to understand code (Python and Java) in order to test it effectively
Ability to think critically and not just rely on AI

Nice To Haves

Retail banking experience
Mainframe experience

Responsibilities

Automate areas of retail technology using AI
Test backend development, with a focus on APIs
Utilize testing tools such as Karate, IQP, and IntelliJ
Apply critical thinking to control and leverage AI as a tool
Utilize Copilot for development and testing tasks
