About The Position

Qnity is seeking a Quality Data Engineer to support Kalrez® manufacturing and quality operations through data-driven solutions that improve reporting, traceability, process visibility, and decision-making. The role develops dashboards, applications, and data interfaces connecting manufacturing, engineering, and quality systems while driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement. The position partners with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and IT to deliver practical digital solutions, improve data integrity and traceability, and support quality system requirements. It is based on-site in Newark, Delaware.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with SQL, APIs, and data management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and ability to create practical, user-friendly interfaces.
Understanding of protocols such as OPC, TCP/IP, and serial communication.
Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
Data-driven mindset focused on accuracy, system reliability, and practical problem solving.
Continuous improvement mindset and willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain dashboards, Power Apps, and reporting tools.
Build user-friendly data collection and reporting solutions for manufacturing and quality teams.
Support SPC, SQC, MRB, and other quality data systems.
Ensure data integrity, traceability, and compliance with quality system requirements.
Partner with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and IT to deliver practical digital solutions.
Automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency.
