About The Position

The Quality Coordinator plays a pivotal role in upholding our high standards by ensuring that every aspect of our operations meets rigorous quality specifications. As a Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining documentation, training staff on quality standards, maintaining competency training and Gage calibration records.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Quality or Community Technical college certification or High school Diploma with manufacturing technical Quality experience
  • Proven experience in quality control and/or quality assurance role
  • Experience working in ISO 9001 Quality Management system environment
  • Experience in training operation members in Quality standards & Instructions
  • Experience in Gage calibration and maintenance of calibration records
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform audits and inspections effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Strong Quality document management skills coupled with technical aptitude

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools is a plus
  • Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, Paint and Electrical/Mechanical Assembly processes is a plus.
  • Spanish language skill is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop Quality standards (Visual Aids, Work Instructions) on Top Internal Quality issues working with Quality Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer
  • Train Operation members on the Quality standards in a classroom environment with the goal of “Building Quality at the first time” to reduce Internal Defects
  • Collaborate with Operations Supervisors in organizing training for members and maintain training records including incoming new members on an on-going basis
  • Train members on the additional assigned work instructions & standards
  • Maintain all Quality standards in “Right to Know Quality Center” and make sure that they are current revisions matching the Master Document record
  • Collaborate with all functional stakeholders in maintaining the training competencies of all members (current and new members)
  • Maintain Calibration program to make sure that only calibrated gages and equipment are used consistently all the time and records are accurate
  • Collaborate with External Calibration vendors and Operations team in maintaining the calibration status of gages and equipment
  • Organize Gage repair activities with external vendors and coordinate with Production in timely availability of Gages for production
  • Develop/Distribute/Disseminate/Post & Maintain communication on Quality Bulletins & Quality Alerts across 4 sites in the Milwaukee area (All sites are within 10-15 minutes of commute time)
  • Able to support additional tasks (not listed here) as they arise and as required to support Production and quality teams
