About The Position

Northern Nevada Medical Center is seeking a full-time Quality Coordinator to join their team. This role is responsible for coordinating the development, implementation, and evaluation of the overall performance improvement program. The Quality Coordinator will support the corporation’s performance improvement process, identify performance trends, and recommend improvements. This position also plays a supportive role in ensuring compliance with all The Joint Commission (TJC) standards and will investigate specific areas of concern identified by leadership. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with a day shift schedule and offers full benefits.

Requirements

Current RN license in the state of Nevada
Three to five years clinical experience.

PI or QA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs oversight, monitoring and compliance with CMS Core measures and FMEA’s.
Analyze data and provide feedback to Director.
Assist Nursing leadership in developing tools to measure compliance (audit tool design, plan educate, collaborate implementation) evaluation and follow-up.
Serve as a resource for Nursing leadership and staff, and Medical Staff as needed.
Helps coordinate the development, implementation, and evaluation of the overall performance improvement program.
Supports the corporation’s performance improvement process.
Identifies performance trends, and recommends improvements.
Plays a supportive role in ensuring compliance with all The Joint Commission (TJC) standards.
Investigates specific areas of concern as identified by the leadership.
