About The Position

Requirements

Valid professional NJ RN License required

Nice To Haves

2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred.
Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness).
Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Director of Quality Management (DQM) with all aspects of the hospital's Quality Program.
Data collection/input, analysis, and reporting for risk management, quality improvement, survey readiness, infection control, employee health, and education.
Assisting with all assigned activities to ensure the facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure.
Assisting with implementation of the Hospital Quality Plan.
Assisting with preparation of quarterly quality meetings.
Assisting with survey readiness and root cause analyses.
Assisting in the implementation of new and revised policies/procedures.
Assisting with medical staff quality improvement activities, including ongoing and focused professional practice evaluations.
Assisting the DQM with data entry into various electronic databases.
Assisting with the implementation of the infection control plan and reporting as required.
Participating in employee training and education.
Assisting with employee health activities.
