About The Position
Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company focused on the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. This role involves ensuring the quality of assembled pallets by correcting defects and performing basic maintenance on the quality control station. The work is indoors and steady year-round, with a focus on a positive, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
- Attention to detail & commitment to quality
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
Nice To Haves
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets.
- Lifts pallet to examine pallet, removes defective boards, and corrects nail related issues.
- Understands pallet specifications and modification necessary for customers.
- Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of quality control station.
- Inspects pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination.
- Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
- Removes damaged boards with pry bar/hammer.
- Cleans area during and at end of shift.
- May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.
- Performs other duties as required.
