About The Position
Terzo Enterprises is a logistics company specializing in the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets. This role is for a 3rd shift Quality Control position.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.
Nice To Haves
- Basic tool knowledge is a plus
Responsibilities
- Uses a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in assembly pallets.
- Lifts pallets to examine them, removes defective boards, and corrects nail-related issues.
- Understands pallet specifications and modifications necessary for customers.
- Responsible for troubleshooting jams and basic maintenance of the quality control station.
- Inspects pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination.
- Corrects defects that do not meet specification criteria.
- Removes damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.
- Cleans area during and at the end of shift.
- Performs other duties as required.
