About The Position

Responsible for ensuring a consistent level of performance across all contracts through training and assessments based on standards defined in the Scope of Work and the customer's expectations. This role involves working under the direction of the Vice President of Service Contracts and in conjunction with the Division Operations Manager to schedule contract site visits and ensure that all employees are adequately trained to perform job procedures safely. The position also contributes to the review of procedures and work instructions, ensures division employees receive all required training, and maintains training records and databases. Additionally, it involves assisting supervisors and managers with training needs, supporting Goodwill's Safety Program, and managing inventory and equipment maintenance records using CompuClean. A resource library of industry-related materials must be maintained. Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required for correspondence, reports, memos, and training spreadsheets. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Service Contracts, ensuring employees are adequately trained in the safest and most effective job procedures.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required; however, equivalent on-the-job experience may be considered.
  • This position requires a high level of communication skills, including training line workers, supervisors, and managers, as well as maintaining positive relationships with customers.
  • Strict attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy are required in the collection and maintenance of data associated with this position.
  • Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, is required.
  • Valid State of Florida Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong math aptitude is essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Training experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Vice President of Service Contracts and in conjunction with the Division Operations Manager to schedule contract site visits and ensure that all employees are adequately trained to perform job procedures safely.
  • Contribute to the review of procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure division employees receive all required training, including, but not limited to, orientation, ongoing training, and annual training.
  • Follow up when training is not completed.
  • Maintain training records.
  • Maintain the training database and provide periodic reports to supervisors and managers.
  • Assist supervisors and managers with training needs identified by the account or through the Corrective Action/Preventive Action Program.
  • Support Goodwill's Safety Program by distributing and collecting monthly safety training materials.
  • Assist the Vice President of Service Contracts with the development and maintenance of other elements of the Service Contracts' Quality Management System as required.
  • Manage inventory records for all accounts using CompuClean.
  • As needed, manage equipment maintenance and repair records using CompuClean.
  • Maintain a resource library of MSDS, training materials, videos, audiotapes, and forms related to the building maintenance industry.
  • Maintain an index of these resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Service Contracts, ensuring that employees are adequately trained in the safest and most effective job procedures.
