About The Position

We're a precision machined parts manufacturer with 75+ years in the industry, supplying a diverse range of OEMs from our facility in southeastern Pennsylvania. We're known as a leader in our field and operate with a family-oriented culture built on integrity, accountability, and responsibility. We're looking for a detail-driven Quality Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll inspect incoming materials, monitor in-process production, and approve finished goods — ensuring everything meets the dimensional specifications on the engineering drawing. You'll also conduct first piece and lot inspections, perform roving floor audits, and help maintain the integrity of our measurement systems.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a precision machining environment
  • Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
  • Hands-on experience with CMM, Optical Comparator, Vision Systems, micrometers, calipers, and other handheld measurement tools
  • Experience with first article inspections, capability studies, and receiving/final inspection
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and legally able to own a firearm, due to ITAR and FFL requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with OGP Vision Systems or equivalent CMM platforms
  • Background in aerospace manufacturing quality
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent
  • Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Calibration and gage R&R experience

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished products against engineering drawings and specifications
  • Approve or reject materials; communicate required adjustments to production; manage re-work documentation
  • Perform first piece inspections using manual and advanced measurement equipment
  • Conduct roving manufacturing audits for part and process compliance
  • Maintain calibration of measurement equipment; initiate repairs as needed
  • Document and log inspection results, reports, and quality records
  • Support capability studies, SPC analysis, and control/run/trend charting
