About The Position

Maxcess is seeking a Quality Control Technician for its 1st Shift. This role involves performing various inspections on Maxcess products using specialized equipment and ensuring adherence to specifications. The technician will also be responsible for updating transactions in company systems and contributing to departmental and company objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to assimilate and retain quickly a variety of information pertaining to several products
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Knowledge of basic math skills
• Must be able to pay close attention to details
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Must work well under pressure
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Able to lift 35 pounds several times a day with one hand
• 20/20 vision or better

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of inspections on all Maxcess products using granite surface plates with indicator stands, test machines, micrometers, calipers, and other types of check gauges.
• Proof read paperwork and check roll drawing specifications versus customer drawings.
• Perform Initial and Final clearance checks on tools using indicators on stands.
• Assemble gears on tools.
• Set up and run a test machine.
• Perform Initial and final inspections / several quality checks on tools.
• Update transactions using oracle and WIP mover programs on the computers.
• Other related duties as assigned to meet departmental and company objectives.
