About The Position

Park Paving Ltd. has been locally owned and operated for 50 years as one of the largest road construction contractors in Edmonton. As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality and durability. You will be responsible for conducting various tests including asphalt and concrete testing, and quality control measurements. Requirements

Currently enrolled or recently graduated in post secondary degree or diploma program in civil engineering or a related field
Must have valid Class 5 drivers license
Previous experience in quality control or a similar role in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of asphalt and concrete materials and testing procedures
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
Proficiency in using testing equipment and software for quality control measurements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
Successful candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, highly productive, and high-pressure environment.
They will also possess a valid driver’s license and have a strong drive to contribute to the team's success by working with operators and other crew members to perform a wide range of duties.
