We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to support our Armament Systems site in Mesa, AZ. Armament Systems is a leading supplier of integrated medium-caliber weapon systems for land, air and sea platforms through its world-renowned Bushmaster® line of automatic cannons produced at its Mesa, Arizona facility. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience as an inspector or closely related quality control position.
Experience with purchase order, contract, specification and drawing interpretations.
Print reading and GDT experience.
Basic PC skills including knowledge of MS Office products.
U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance and certain other restricted positions.

Responsibilities

Inspect purchased materials, assembled components, and final assemblies for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements.
Inspects for proper identification and dimensions using such measuring devices as micrometers, gauges, and calipers.
Visually inspects for obvious defects or damage such as corrosion, cracks, dents, scratches, and pits.
Verifies specifications using contracts, purchase orders, prints, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.
Inspections may involve or three-dimensional projections using inspection equipment such as bore and telescope gauges, and optical comparators.
Makes accept/reject decisions on inspected goods.
Maintains records of results.
Crosstrain across quality functions.
Perform First Article Inspections.
Interact with DCMA and other customer representatives.
