To achieve this, we have developed The Globe® Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story. We have obtained FDA approval and officially began the commercial launch of the Globe® Pulsed Field System. This is a pivotal and exciting time in our journey, as we bring this life-changing technology to patients! Reporting to the QC Supervisor, you will have direct responsibility for the Quality Control activities to support the development, manufacturing, and sales of the Kardium products. Please note, this opportunity is an onsite work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC. Additionally, due to the nature of our manufacturing operations, this role involves a rotating or variable schedule. It includes 12-hour shifts ending at approximately 7 p.m., as well as weekend coverage. Occasional work on statutory holidays may also be required.

Requirements

  • At least two years of hands-on quality control or metrology lab experience, preferably in regulated manufacturing industries, such as medical devices or automotive.
  • Desire to work in a certified cleanroom environment.
  • Able to perform detailed visual inspections.
  • An ability to interpret mechanical drawings to understand specified dimensional and functional characteristics to be measured, tested, or inspected, including the basics of GD&T.
  • Proficiency with standard measurement tools/systems such as calipers and micrometers.
  • An associate degree or diploma in a technical field, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or related experience.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication and technical documentation skills.
  • The willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • In-process and incoming inspections according to established specifications and procedures inside certified cleanrooms.
  • Producing formal reports of the inspection and measurement results and initiating non-conformity reports (NCR) when required.
  • Implementing 5S good practices to the Quality Control stations.
  • Suggesting improvement ideas related to the Quality Control processes.
