Day Shift - 4:45a - 5:00p- Quality Control Technician
About The Position
Tekni-Plex Consumer Products Division – Van Wert, OH is seeking Quality Control Technicians for their newly built manufacturing plant. This plant will manufacture molded pulp egg carton products. Quality Technicians will be responsible for safely and efficiently conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process. They will conduct audits, perform data entry of quality checks into the database, and train production equipment operators on recognizing high-quality product versus product/printing defects. Quality Techs will also help ensure compliance with Food Safety requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Experience training others.
- Experience entering data into a database is strongly preferred.
- Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a HUGE plus!
Responsibilities
- Conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of Fiber Egg Cartons.
- Conducting audits.
- Performing data entry of quality checks into the database.
- Training production equipment operators on how to recognize high quality product vs. product/printing defects.
- Ensuring compliance with Food Safety requirements.
