Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills including office communication and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities
- Performs inspection of purchased parts, material, components and equipment for quality identity, damage, certification, and conformance to specifications/drawings/standards and/or quality assurance documents.
- Inspects product to determine compliance with order specifications, company's quality control system for compliance with its written standards.
- Prepares data and performs computer data entry to record information regarding all test results consistent with current documented procedures, written or verbal instruction from the QA manager, or company policy.
- Maintains quality control records and creates new records when required.
- Assists Quality Assurance in investigative testing.
