Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Must have a good command of the English language, both written and spoken
Must be able to read and interpret work documents
Must have the ability to work in teams
Must have the ability to perform basic math
Must have the ability to adapt to frequent changes
Must have normal mobility, strength, dexterity, visual, and auditory abilities. Must be able to stand and/or walk for a long period of time.
Must be able to work overtime or on a different shift if required.
Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Computer and statistical skills as applicable to quality control inspection in the manufacturing field.
General Safety Training
Quality Systems Training
New Hire Orientation Training
Position-specific Basic Training

Responsibilities

Demonstrate Drylock Core Values: Safety, Respect, Ownership
Perform testing of finished goods per written test method procedures and guidelines. Test methods may include the following: Rewet, Absorbent Capacity, Side Seam Bond Strength, Tab Shear and Peel Strength, Elastic Creep and Elongation, Dimensional Measurements, Visual Defects
Immediately report defects to the Production Group Leaders. Technicians will be responsible for reporting to Management any other issue, which could jeopardize customer satisfaction.
Process final release of product paper work.
Provide assistance and guidance to quarantine any product suspect of being defective.
Enter test data in Quality databases.
Observe Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety procedures.
Complete special assignments delegated by the Quality Group Leader.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
