About The Position

We're looking for a Quality Control Technician to help ensure our aluminum extrusion products meet the highest standards for our customers. If you enjoy precision, working with measurement equipment, and collaborating with production teams, we'd love to hear from you! This role involves inspecting aluminum extrusions, interpreting technical drawings, creating inspection plans, and performing various quality tests. You will also be responsible for documentation, investigating quality concerns, and responding to customer inquiries to drive continuous improvement.

Experience with precision measuring tools
AutoCAD experience
Manufacturing or quality control experience

Responsibilities

Inspect aluminum extrusions to ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Interpret Aluminum Association tolerances and engineering drawings.
Create profile measurement inspection plans using AutoCAD and iNOEX software.
Use precision measuring equipment to verify product quality.
Perform calibration of measuring and temperature-related equipment.
Conduct first article inspections and approve production start-ups.
Perform mechanical testing, including tensile and hardness testing.
Prepare quality documentation, including PPAP, CPK, and GR&R reports.
Investigate quality concerns and work with production teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Review and disposition nonconforming material, scrap, and held orders.
Respond to customer quality concerns and help drive continuous improvement.
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
