About The Position
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring quality standards are upheld at Diamondback Airboats. This role involves overseeing the QC and repair process of all airboat manufacturing items, performing touch-ups, sanding, and buffing as needed, and developing/maintaining inspection reports. The technician will also maintain cleanliness of working areas, wear required PPE, and assist in other departments or with small parts assembly during downtime. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience working in quality control is required
- At least 1 year of following procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
- Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of experience in automotive/marine industry is preferred
- At least 1 year of quality experience in the automotive/marine industry is preferred
- Extremely detail oriented
- Effectively communicate with supervisors and coworkers
- Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Forklift certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the QC and repair process of all airboats manufacturing items
- Touch up, sand, and buff items that require corrective action
- Develop and maintain inspection reports
- Maintains cleanliness of working areas
- Wears all required PPE
- Assist in other departments as needed
- Assist in assembly of small parts during any downtime
- Other duties as assigned
