About The Position

This is an intermediate-level Microbiology Lab Quality Control Technician position responsible for performing bacterial retention testing on biopharmaceutical filtration membranes and devices. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities include supporting testing operations, troubleshooting basic setup and testing issues, and utilizing a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) at a foundational level. This is a 2nd shift position, working from 4:30 PM to 12:30 AM. The company is seeking curious minds who are passionate about science and technology and want to contribute to solutions in Healthcare, Life Science, and Electronics. Requirements

1+ years of laboratory or cGMP manufacturing experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Basic level of knowledge of the Laboratory Information Management System.
Read, follow and understand test methods, operating procedures, and related documentation.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in science discipline.
2+ years of laboratory or cGMP manufacturing experience.
Aseptic laboratory experience.
Basic knowledge of EHS, ISO, cGMP, and other manufacturing regulatory requirements.
Basic computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Reliable and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

Test products safely and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Quality and Safety Specifications and GMP standards.
Safely set up and operate quality lab test equipment and monitor required inputs and outputs.
Support quality lab operations and projects under the supervision of senior technicians.
Accurately complete documentation per GMP standards.
Initiate and participate in Out of Specification (OOS) investigations.
Assist with execution of protocols, qualifications, and validations.
Develop skills to independently perform Bacterial Retention Testing.
Proactive identification of safety, quality, and productivity concerns. Actively report hazardous conditions or hazardous behaviors observed in the work center and the site.
Performs basic troubleshooting and setup, reviews and verifies test data with accurate LIMS entry, maintains a clean workspace, supports sustainability efforts, and works under close supervision.
