About The Position

Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Technician for Weekend Shift (Friday to Sunday 5:00AM to 5:30PM with 30-minute lunch). This role is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge inspection technology in a fast-paced CNC machining environment, for individuals with a passion for precision manufacturing, advanced metrology, and ensuring world-class quality standards. You'll play a critical role in validating precision-machined components, supporting production excellence, and helping maintain the highest standards of quality for our customers. You'll conduct thorough inspections using manual, visual, and attribute methods, while expertly generating Non-Conformance reports to communicate findings to relevant parties. You'll operate and program critical equipment like CMM, Vision systems, and Formtracers, performing data reviews on collected DCC data and pulling relevant defect tracking and dimensional reports from our database. Collaborating with our team will be essential to addressing quality issues and developing effective inspection procedures. Additionally, you'll ensure that all gauges used in the inspection process are properly verified, maintained, and calibrated, contributing to our commitment to excellence and safety in manufacturing.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years in Quality Control.
  • 3 years of CMM programming experience using PC-Dmis or Calypso.
  • Familiarity with common inspection methods, PPAPs, and FAIRs.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Certificate, Associates degree, or equivalent work experience in manufacturing or related technical field.
  • In-depth understanding of GD&T.
  • Working knowledge of different types of gaging and measurement methods.
  • Working knowledge of ISO and Calibration requirements.
  • Must be a US citizen or a lawful permanent resident for ITAR compliance.
