Quality Control Technician I
About The Position
Impact Property Solutions is seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to oversee daily flooring activities and examine products, materials, and overall workmanship for defects or deviations from approved projects. This role supports warehouse activities for daily product installation, reviews project workmanship daily, and documents all work activities in detail. All work must be performed in a safe and professional manner. The company has been serving multifamily properties for over 30 years, focusing on superior customer service, quality workmanship, and quick installation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Flooring installation or related experience
- Foundational flooring construction, installation, and product knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present data, and influence decision making
- Ability to focus on details while managing multiple projects
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude, self-motivation, drive, and determination
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with multifamily property management companies preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Execute specific inspections on flooring construction and installation activities on site.
- Develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements and standards for flooring and other construction projects.
- Design and implement methods for Quality Control and process improvements for testing and inspection.
- Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes, test methods, quality plans, documents, and reports.
- Address customer concerns and issues, escalating them as necessary for job completion and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to builder and/or post-sale customer concerns regarding warranty issues, repairs, and material or quality issues.
- Communicate with installers to ensure clear understanding of job specifications and installation requirements to maintain high quality job standards.
- Work with account representatives in various departments to ensure that complete and proper information is provided for work assignments.
