This role is an Onsite Role: This role requires full-time presence at our Oxford, NC office. This position is responsible for sampling, inspecting, testing and final disposition of components and finished goods in accordance with department procedures and Revlon specifications. Use statistical sampling plans, measurement tests and developed organoleptic skills in evaluation of products. Assists with training new employees. The QC Department supports an active manufacturing facility. Materials are evaluated and inspected in the QC Laboratory and in Manufacturing. Sampling is performed in other areas within the facility. This position is required to be adaptable to working different shifts and Saturday/Sunday based on business demands and PTO schedules

Requirements

Must have good math and organization skills

Aptitude for color and organoleptic evaluation
Work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 25 pounds as an essential function of the role.
Position requires a high degree of walking and standing throughout the workday.
Ability to perform physical activities that may include bending, reaching, and manual handling.
0 – 3 years of experience
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa support.

Nice To Haves

College degree in a science, technical or related business discipline preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

Organoleptic evaluation, shade evaluation and physical testing, chemical testing of raw materials, in accordance with department procedures and Revlon specifications.
Sample raw materials in accordance with procedures and Revlon specifications.
Use, care, calibration of instruments and test equipment to include but not limited to Karl Fischer, pH meter and IR.
Assist in training new employees.
Generate approval/reject tags for raw materials.
Enters evaluation, test results and final disposition in SAP for raw materials.
Interface with Bulk Planning/Manufacturing/Receiving to coordinate the sampling, testing and dispositioning of raw materials.
Works independently with little supervision.
Follows Good Laboratory Practices, Good Manufacturing Practices and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
