About The Position

Responsible for the sampling, inspecting and testing of all produced materials (aggregate, sand, etc.) and compare against specifications. This position is scheduled to work Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

Requirements

Must be able to quickly understand and adhere to safety requirements of this position.
Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including swing shift, graveyard shift, over time and weekends as required.
Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Work safely and take actions to prevent all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
Obtain samples on various aggregate products following ASTM and ODOT standards.
Capable of performing a particle size analysis of coarse and fine aggregate according to ASTM and ODOT Specifications.
Preparing samples of products for customers and testing laboratories.
Records and maintains test data and other required information. This includes both written records and data input into a personal computer.
Performs necessary housekeeping functions in laboratory area.
Performs daily maintenance on lab and test equipment.
Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location.
Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
