About The Position

Performs analyses, inspections, and tests of raw materials, packaging materials, samples, and finished products from manufacturing to ensure quality standards and compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and tolerance specifications for chemical or physical properties. Performs qualitative tests or assays and helps maintain and certify test instruments and apparatus for compliance. Conducts required inspections, checks, analyses, and documentation of studies; prepares and monitors quality statistics and reports; reviews production records for conformance to procedures; and conducts non-conformance tests of manufactured, packaged, or tested products.

Requirements

Associate's degree and 0 years of relevant experience.
One of the following may be used as equivalent to an associate's degree: NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate; high school/GED and 2 years of related manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or military experience; or high school/GED and 4 years of non-related manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, or military experience.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
