About The Position
The QC Tech assists in ensuring products or services meet established quality standards by performing administrative tasks such as data entry, documentation, and record-keeping related to quality control processes.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry.
- Forklift certification. Training and certification available.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience is a benefit but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicates and resolves any discrepancies from the customer’s order specifications.
- Prepares parts/merchandise for storage and/or shipment using proper bagging, tagging, wrapping and packaging to prevent damage.
- Verifies part condition and damage against order using ARA damage locators as it relates to inspecting merchandise and maintaining quality control.
- Assist with tasks such as inventory audits or handling returns.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned
