About The Position

Be part of our rapidly expanding startup team by taking on the role of Team Lead at GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC. We are in search of skilled individuals with excellent interpersonal abilities to play a key role in supervising daily operations and staff, ensuring both equipment availability and a safe working environment, while also evaluating worker performance. All 2nd Shift personnel will be trained during 1st Shift hours (6:00 AM-3:00 PM) until transitioning to 2nd Shift hours (2:00 PM-10:30 PM) starting in Summer 2026.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in automotive environment.
  • Minimum of one year of sit-down forklift experience.
  • Must be able to perform basic to moderately difficult mathematical functions involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, averaging, and percentages.
  • Must be able to successfully complete in-house forklift certification class and test.
  • Must maintain certification and take part in recertification based on company Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and recognize when and how to effectively collaborate with others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly focused with excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience using scanners and WMS would be preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the OS in the management of equipment operators and team members.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of workers, ensuring targets and safety standards.
  • Participate and support safety initiatives, assist with training team members.
  • Learn IVELES systems and scanning processes for each department you work in.
  • Facilitate communication between TM's and management.
  • Resolve conflicts that may arise between team members.
  • May be assigned various tasks based on work area for business needs.
  • Ensure team members are adequately trained and performing their assigned positions.
  • May work with forklifts, tuggers, driving, part install, vehicle loading, processing and QC.
  • Understand and carry out all SOP's, SWIS, and safety requirements per instructions.
  • Must understand process flow and next customer requirements.
  • Assist with safety audits as needed.
  • Report issues as needed to management to remain vigilant in containment.
  • This position is required to fill in where needed, including but not limited to all supporting positions.
  • Assist with training of new staff on quality standards.
  • Communicate issues and concerns with management in a timely or urgent manner.
  • May be required to assist in vehicle driving in urgent circumstances to meet objectives.
