About The Position

This is a hands-on supervisory position responsible for overseeing quality control operations and inspecting parts and components used in the manufacturing of airbags. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable leading a team, and able to stay on their feet throughout most of the shift.

Requirements

• Previous supervisor, lead, quality control, or inspection experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to identify defects and quality issues
• Dependable and able to lead by example
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Able to stand and walk for most of the shift
• Able to follow detailed instructions and quality standards
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to pass a background check

Nice To Haves

• GED / High School Diploma preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support quality control employees on the swing shift
• Inspect parts and components used in the manufacturing of airbags
• Perform visual and quality inspections to identify defects or inconsistencies
• Ensure parts meet required quality and safety standards
• Follow established inspection procedures and quality guidelines
• Document inspection results accurately
• Communicate quality concerns or defects to the appropriate team members
• Help train and guide employees on proper inspection procedures
• Monitor workflow and help keep the team on task throughout the shift
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Stand and walk for the majority of the shift
• Perform other quality control duties as assigned
