About The Position

Milacron is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join our team in Norcross, GA. This role involves performing final and pre-inspections for screws and barrels, reviewing parts against drawings to identify deviations, and stamping parts with serial numbers. The specialist will also be responsible for the maintenance of customer storage racks.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
• Knowledge of and accurate use of basic measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, thread & plug gages, height gage.
• Ability to conducts 1st article inspections, final audits, maintain quality assurance inspection database
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word
• Work primarily independently

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Associate/Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Final and preinspections for screws and barrel
• Review parts to drawings and note any deviations
• Stamp parts with serial #’s
• Maintenance of customer storage racks
• Conducts 1st article inspections, final audits, maintain quality assurance inspection database
• Complete and maintain quality charts/records for management
• Communicates directly with team members to resolve quality issues
• Operate forklift/combi lift.
