About The Position

In this role, you’ll work closely with Field Leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure our quality programs meet legislative requirements, ABSA standards, and customer expectations—every time. You’ll take ownership of quality control processes, documentation systems, audits, and compliance initiatives, while playing a key role in continuous improvement and new product development.

Requirements

  • Extremely process-driven mindset – you build, follow, and improve systems

  • Strong understanding of process piping systems
  • Current, working knowledge of CSA B31.9 & B31.5 codes
  • Deep understanding of ABSA requirements, with an established relationship with ABSA
  • Proven track record of leading and spearheading QA/QC audits across multiple provinces
  • Outstanding auditing and compliance expertise
  • High level of accountability and ownership
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and influence teams across geographically dispersed operations

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Commercial Refrigeration a major asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct internal QA/QC audits across multiple provinces
  • Ensure compliance with provincial regulations, ABSA requirements, and applicable building codes (CSA B31.9 & B31.5)
  • Review brazing procedures and coordinate certification testing
  • Monitor permit applications and ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines
  • Own and maintain robust document control systems
  • Review, verify, and file QA/QC reports and documentation with high accuracy
  • Prepare turnover packages aligned with customer specifications
  • Submit documentation for client approvals and manage feedback cycles
  • Ensure all field documentation is complete, accurate, and finalized
  • Update and maintain the QA/QC Manual annually
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams on incoming materials
  • Ensure all project documentation meets final approval requirements
  • Drive the quality message across the organization
  • Coach and mentor teams on QA/QC standards and best practices
  • Support consistent program execution across Western Canadian operations
  • Promote accountability and continuous improvement at all levels
