Quality Control Specialist III’s not only ensure products and services meet customers’ expectations, regulatory requirements, project specifications, and ENFRA quality control program through audits and visual inspections but must also be proactive in preventing defects from occurring. This involves identifying potential issues in processes or materials before the task is performed and taking measures to mitigate them. Through proactive thinking, the project will experience minimal rework, reduced waste, and overall customer satisfaction leading to cost savings, improved efficiency, and a safer work environment.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of construction or fabrication experience
  • Osha 30
  • Ability to create reports and documents using Word, Excel, Smartsheet, and other various software.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing the organization’s quality management system (QMS) Including the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality control procedures, standards, and documentations.
  • Conducting highly detailed and specialized inspections and tests on products, materials, or processes to ensure they meet appropriate quality standards and specifications.
  • Initiating and managing cross functional quality improvement projects aiming at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, optimizing processes, and improving overall operational efficiencies. This includes Collaborating with project superintendents, foreman and project managers to implement best practices and quality improvements.
  • Review project documents for accuracy and completeness, checking for errors, inconsistencies missing information. Ensure that quality control processes and products comply with industry standards, local codes and customer specifications.
  • Analyzing quality data, trends, and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement, predict potential issues, and make data-driven decisions. Preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for management review and strategic planning.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentorship to junior quality control professionals on quality control principles, techniques and best practices. Promoting a culture of quality, excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
