Requirements

HS Diploma
Candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.
This position requires U.S. Citizenship.
CWI Certification
Level II certifications in liquid penetrant (PT) and leak testing (LT)
Documented experience in NDE methods
3+ years of NDE inspection experience.
Strong understanding of weld codes and standards.
Proficiency with mechanical drawings and related technical writing.

Nice To Haves

Active Q Clearance.
Experience with GD&T and Dimensional Inspections
NQA-1 and/or DOE related experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspections using NDE methods such as leak testing and liquid penetrant testing, interpreting results and applying acceptance criteria from drawings and work orders.
Perform welding inspections to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, evaluate weld quality, monitor welding and brazing processes, and confirm welder qualifications.
Ensure that all NDE and welding systems, processes, and documentation align with industry and internal requirements while helping drive continuous improvement.
Review engineering drawings, specifications, and codes to validate product conformity and maintain accurate records for fabrication, inspection, and final reporting.
Manage nonconformance documentation.
Support internal process audits.
Collaborate with engineers and managers to communicate inspection results.
Provide training on inspection techniques.
Maintain an organized and safe work area.
Support other quality‑related activities as needed.
