About The Position

The Quality Control Manager (QCM) will oversee all quality control activities for the construction of an Army Reserve Center in Albany, Georgia. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, applicable codes, and quality management standards throughout all phases of construction. The selected candidate will coordinate inspections, monitor workmanship, review project documentation, and work closely with project management, subcontractors, and field personnel to maintain quality standards across multiple construction trades. The QCM will play a key role in identifying deficiencies, implementing corrective actions, and supporting successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with federal construction quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Current CQCM Certification
  • 10 years of demonstrable Quality Control Management experience on similar construction projects; or Graduate Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience
  • Graduate Architect with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience
  • Graduate of Construction Management with a minimum of 5 years of construction experience
  • Experience overseeing quality control across multiple construction disciplines and trades
  • Ability to review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Strong documentation, inspection, and reporting skills
  • Experience coordinating with project teams, subcontractors, and government representatives
  • Ability to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Ability to work full project schedule of 40-50 hours per week
