About The Position

A general contractor is seeking a Companywide Quality Control Manager to lead field-driven quality systems across active projects. This role focuses on preventing defects early, strengthening field execution, and improving construction quality through hands-on oversight, coaching, and standardized best practices.

Requirements

• Strong construction background in field supervision, QA/QC, closeout, or warranty roles
• Proven ability to influence field teams and leadership without being overly administrative
• Experience across core scopes such as concrete, framing, waterproofing, MEP, drywall, and finishes
• Strong field observation, documentation, and root-cause problem-solving skills
• Ability to drive accountability and improve trade performance

Nice To Haves

• Florida experience preferred
• bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field quality walks across multiple projects and document findings with corrective action plans
• Establish and enforce benchmark installations, first-work approvals, inspection hold points, and quality checkpoints
• Partner with Superintendents and PMs to resolve field issues and improve trade performance
• Support mockups, testing, inspections, finish reviews, and milestone readiness assessments
• Identify recurring quality issues and drive standardization to prevent repeat problems across jobs
• Track quality trends and help improve companywide field execution standards
