About The Position

The Quality Control Lead is responsible for monitoring the inspection process. This role will assist and/or execute special projects and assist in monitoring new product. Other responsibilities include: Monitor daily Special Inspection process on the Shipping Dock including White Glove Inspections. Monitor Quality Control/Repair Technicians and Support Staff stationed at the Repair Shop. Assist and/or execute RTV Projects. Research and assess potential Quality Control issues. Assist in monitoring new products. Lead and monitor department meetings as needed. Ensure all direct reports are working effectively and efficiently. Provide ideas to management to ensure workloads are met or exceeded. Train and evaluate all Quality Control/Repair personnel. Maintain and order supplies for Department. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience including leadership experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, SAP and Red Prairie.
  • Detail oriented and accurate.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively including comprehending and communicating detailed instructions, reading and writing, and having knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as required by the position.
