About The Position
This role involves receiving samples and performing laboratory testing in compliance with established specifications and standard operating procedures. Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience as a laboratory technician OR 2 years of college education in chemistry.
Responsibilities
- Receive samples and perform laboratory testing in compliance with established specifications and standard operating procedures.
- Schedule batches for testing.
- Record test data into log books.
- Assemble and generate routine reports on quality control testing.
- Approve or reject production batches.
- Determine proper batch adjustments if needed.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and tools in clean, safe, and good conditions.
- Work with other technicians to complete laboratory tasks within assigned timelines.
- Follow proper waste disposal and recycling methodologies.
