Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Technology, or related field. Additional experience can be considered in lieu of education.
Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.
Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
Successful candidates will be able to perform the essential functions of the job with reasonable accommodation.
Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.
3+ years of experience in QC laboratory related work.
Experience performing laboratory testing in wet chemistry, analytical techniques, and/or mechanical testing
Experience with calibration activities, troubleshooting equipment, and documentation control
Experience in a regulated environment (nuclear, aerospace, medical device)

Nice To Haves

Active Q Clearance.
NQA-1 and/or DOE related experience.
Supervisory or lead experience preferred; working-lead roles welcome

Responsibilities

Oversee daily QC lab operations, ensuring testing is performed accurately, safely, and in compliance with procedures and quality standards.
Manage laboratory workflow, assign tasks, and support technicians through coaching, training, and performance guidance.
Perform hands-on testing when needed, troubleshoot analytical issues, and communicate results with engineering, production, and QC teams.
Maintain equipment readiness, coordinate calibrations, and ensure documentation, data, and records meet audit and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement by refining processes, evaluating new technologies, and updating laboratory procedures.
