From your PASSION to ours Lactalis US Yogurt , part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Quality Lab Technician based in Brattleboro VT.

Requirements

  • As a Quality Laboratory Technician, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited to in-process testing of milk and finished product testing of yogurt products.
  • Additionally, the Quality Laboratory Technician will collaborate with Quality and site management to align duties with the company's goals and values.

Responsibilities

  • Key member of the Quality Assurance laboratory team in a fast-paced dairy manufacturing facility.
  • Performs and documents testing of materials and finished products.
  • Performs microbiological analyses of raw materials and finished products.
  • Performs analytical testing of raw materials and finished products.
  • Coordinates hold/release/rejection of in-process and finished goods.
  • Confirms compliance and alerts Quality Assurance Management of any deviations from approved product specifications.
  • Performs weight checks, temperature checks, ingredient usage and distribution, finished product appearance, code date verification, pH testing and x-ray verification.
  • Performs sensory evaluation of raw material and finished products.
  • Performs environmental testing and monitoring.
  • Performs related duties and projects assigned by Quality Assurance Management.
  • Wears Company-supplied uniforms as well as appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
