About The Position

This position is responsible for inspecting, testing, and releasing all incoming raw materials used in production as well as completes finished product design testing. The Quality Control Lab Technician is responsible for auditing Cambria quality functions and processes by performing tests and monitoring adherence to defined procedures and specifications.

Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings
Lift up to 60 lbs.
Push/pull 100 lbs.
Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
Handle Chemicals
Bend over multiple times throughout shift
Steel toed boots
Hearing protection
Cut resistant gloves
Safety glasses
High visibility vest
Hard hat
Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)

Responsibilities

Complete visual inspection of incoming raw materials
Test and release all incoming raw materials for use in production
Communicate test results and ensure non-conforming material is processed appropriately
Complete finished product design testing
Set up and maintain laboratory test equipment
Input the status of raw materials into the Oracle computer system
Clean and maintain all equipment in the lab
Complete all paperwork in a timely manner and communicate any issues at the shift transition
Keep work area clean and orderly
Perform job duties safely as outlined in the Quality Control Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Additional duties as assigned by management
