The Quality Control Inspector performs daily quality control of products to ensure standards and specifications are met. This role involves recognizing and reporting problems, managing defective units, and assisting with rework projects. The inspector will also learn all processes for all machine models and train subordinates. Responsibilities include participating in QC team meetings, preparing and conducting presentations for monthly QC meetings, and maintaining detailed logs through documentation, failure analysis, and root-cause analysis. The role requires utilizing computers for documentation and report generation, keeping management informed of RNC data for improvements, and performing routine maintenance on tools and equipment. The inspector must maintain an orderly and clean work area, manage time and resources efficiently, and comply with established procedures including Tool Calibration, RNC/NCR Process, Customer Complaint, First Article, Receiving Inspection, Miscellaneous Jobs Process, Corrective Action Report, Internal Audit and Auditor, New Product Approval, Product Inspections, In-Process Inspections, and Final Inspections. Additionally, the inspector may assist in creating work instructions, train subordinates on CMM testing and programming, provide customer service via phone, fax, and email, contribute to team efforts through flexible assignments, and maintain professional and technical knowledge. The role also involves acting on constructive feedback, improving processes, upholding work standards, understanding ISO9001 Quality Systems, developing and administering Reliability Information Systems, and supporting company policies and goals. Employees are required to speak only English during emergencies and while performing job duties where there is potential for an emergency. Non-field-related positions require in-office work 5 days a week at the assigned branch office.
