The Quality Control Inspector will inspect parts, products, and processes to ensure they meet standards, using measuring instruments to check for irregularities and defects, and verifying dimensions. They will also compare products with parts lists for assembly completion.

Requirements

  • High School degree or G.E.D.
  • 3 years Manufacturing related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to coordinate with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
  • Ability to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ability to talk or hear.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to stand.
  • Ability to climb or balance.
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufactured Housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect parts, products, and/or processes to ensure conformance with standards.
  • Inspect materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments.
  • Check for irregularities and defects.
  • Compare product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly.
  • Verify specified dimensions on product or material.
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing personnel to resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications, and/or manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure all quality control policies, procedures, directives, and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations.
  • Continuously strive to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company and OSHA regulations.
