About The Position

Assured Quality Systems (AQS) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to provide inspection services for client operations. AQS provides Containment Rapid Response, Onsite Management, Liaison Support, and 3rd Party Sorting. The company seeks a team player who is detail-oriented, reliable, dedicated, accurate, able to multitask, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Inspectors examine products and materials to determine whether they meet customer specifications and production standards. The work environment varies by industry and establishment size; some inspectors examine similar products throughout a shift, while others inspect a variety of items. The position is based in Grand Prairie, Texas. Available schedules include first shift Monday through Saturday, second shift Monday through Friday, and third shift Sunday through Thursday with rotating Saturdays. Shifts may continue until production ends, and employees must be able to work the full shift. Pay is $18.00 per hour, paid biweekly.

Requirements

Must be able to stand, bend, and lift at least 30 lbs. for the entire shift.
Must wear a safety vest and other required PPE throughout the shift.
Must be able to work the full shift.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Visually or physically inspect parts against customer specifications and record the information.
Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards.
Recommend adjustments to assembly or production processes.
Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
Measure products using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
Operate electronic inspection equipment and software.
Accept or reject finished items.
Remove products and materials that fail to meet specifications.
Report inspection and test data, including weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities inspected.
