About The Position

Champion Home Builders, Inc. is seeking to hire a Quality Control Inspector to join their team in the San Jacinto, CA Plant. This role involves inspecting parts, products, and/or processes to ensure conformance with standards. The inspector will use fixed or variable measuring instruments, check for irregularities and defects, compare products with parts lists for completion of assembly, and verify specified dimensions on products or materials.

High School degree or G.E.D. and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years Manufactured housing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect parts, products and/or processes to insure conformance with standards.
Inspects materials or products using fixed or variable measuring instruments.
Checks for irregularities and defects.
Compares product with parts list to ensure completion of assembly.
Verifies specified dimensions on product or material.
Coordinates with engineering, sales and manufacturing personnel to effectively resolve problems related to product design, materials, specifications and/or manufacturing operations.
Ensures all quality control policies, procedures, directives and systems are in compliance with company and/or applicable federal regulations, continually strives to increase the level of quality assurance within the facility.
Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed in accordance with guidelines established by the Company in accordance with OSHA regulations.
