About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector who will be responsible for ensuring that the product is within quality standards and specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining quality and safety standards; visual inspections measurements and functional testing of the product; recording data/test results to validate conformance; and assisting with quality related reports, reviews, and audits as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of previous work experience in a QC inspector position
  • Must have a working knowledge of measuring instruments
  • Must have legible handwriting
  • Applicants must already have full-time work authorization in the United States, both now and in the future, without requiring sponsorship.

  • Prior working knowledge with quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
  • Blueprint/drawing interpretation
  • GD&T skills
  • CMM operation skills a plus
  • Ability to articulate clearly, professionally, and effectively
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with little supervision
  • Previous work experience should demonstrate good people skills, self-motivation, flexibility, detail-oriented work style, professional appearance and attitude, and ability to effectively communicate with customers/clients at all levels

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic to moderate receiving, in-process, or finished product inspections on devices, raw materials, parts, packaging, and other components following established Quality Control procedures and standards.
  • Uses measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gages, optical inspection, and computerized inspection devices as needed.
  • Documents inspection results by completing applicable inspection reports and logs.
  • Setting up inspections
  • Demonstrating proficient ability to interpret instructions, drawings, sketches and specifications for inspections
  • Testing, sampling, and troubleshooting components, electronic devices and/or raw materials.
  • Ensuring inspected components meets pre-determined standards.
  • Applying approval or rejection labels on components and or raw materials
  • Examining workmanship, proper installation, binding, and alignment
  • Responsible for keeping measuring equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for calibrations and repairs when required.
  • Maintains manufacturing and inspection related documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding and training new inspectors.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standard operating procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Participate in quality control related activities.
