About The Position

This position is responsible for dimensionally inspecting in-process and final machined parts primarily using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and other typical inspection equipment. This position will also assist manufacturing personnel with accurate and timely inspections. Perform calibration of hand held measurement instruments.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Intermediate level CMM programming and operation experience is a must.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection of machined details.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to speak English and work in team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Zeiss Calypso software experience desired.
• ASQ certificate in Mechanical Inspection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• CMM programming and operation.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final dimensional inspections.
• Gage calibration.
• Assist all manufacturing personnel with measurements and gauging.
• Perform receiving inspection and subcontracted processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
• Work with manufacturing personnel to improve processes and overall manufacturing quality.
• Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
